The Daimler DB18 is a family of luxury cars that debuted for the 1940 model year. Due to the outbreak of WW2, the model was dormant after its introduction, but production resumed after the war for the 1949 model year. After the the resumption of production, the DB18 was given the name Consort, which was used for export variants. These luxury cars were available in a range of open and closed coachbuilt bodies, and were powered by a 2.5L inline six engine. This engine generated 70hp, which it sent to the rear wheels via a 4 speed preselector manual transmission. The Daimler DB18 was built until 1953, when it was replaced by the Daimler Conquest.
