The Dodge C Series was a family of pickup trucks introduced for the 1954 model year. The C Series was the successor to the Dodge B Series, and featured all new styling. Dodge offered the C Series with a selection of V8 engines, as well as an inline six option. During production, the C Series saw a variety of styling updates, including the 'Sweptline' and 'Sweptside.' Dodge built the C Series until 1960, and replaced the model with the Dodge D Series. Over the course of production, Dodge adjusted their naming conventions to more standard naming, so the 1/2 ton became known as the D100.
