The Dodge Caravan is a series of minivans that were introduced for the 1984 model year. The Caravan is front wheel drive, and has been powered by a range of inline four and V6 engines. Both a standard and long wheelbase version were built, with the long wheelbase version known as the Grand Caravan. Production of the Caravan has taken place over five generations: 1st Gen (1984-1990), 2nd Gen (1991-1995), 3rd Gen (1996-2000), 4th Gen (2001-2007), 5th Gen (2008-2020).
