The Dodge Custom was a series of full size cars introduced for the 1942 model year. The Custom was the top offering by Dodge during its production, and was available in a range of sedan, coupe, and convertible body styles. Dodge offered the Custom and its lower tier sibling, the Deluxe, with a 3.8L inline six engine. While both models were very similar, the Custom is distinguishable by its chrome window trim, interior, and electric window wipers. Production of the Dodge Custom paused from 1943 to 1945 due to WW2, in 1946 production resumed, and eventually ended in 1949, and the model was replaced by the Dodge Meadowbrook.
