The second generation of Dodge Dart was introduced for the 1962 model year. Like its predecessor, the second generation was offered in sedan, hardtop, station wagon, and convertible body styles, as well as with three V8 (5.2L, 5.9L, 6.3L) and one inline six (3.7L Slant Six) engine options. The second generation was offered in Dart (base), Dart 330 (intermediate), and Dart 440 (premium) trim levels, and was only available for the 1962 model year. This generation was replaced by the Third Generation Dodge Dart.
