The Third Generation Dodge Viper only featured a coupe body style for the 2006 model year. Before 2006, the Viper SRT-10 had only been offered in a Roadster version. Drawing from the Viper GTS, this new range of coupes featured a slightly more powerful engine than the open top versions (10hp more), and were almost 80 lbs lighter. As Dodge didn't produce any Vipers in 2007, the Viper SRT-10 Coupe was only available for the 2006 model year, with 1,117 examples built.
