The Dodge Viper SRT, also sold as the SRT Viper, was the base variant offered for the Fifth Generation Dodge Viper (VX I). Introduced for the 2013 model year, the SRT was powered by an 8.4L V10 engine that generated 640hp (645hp from 2015). This engine sent power to the rear wheels via a 6 speed manual transmission. Notably, the SRT featured a front hood with 6 vents arranged in two rows of three, this distinct hood was not offered on any other VX I Viper. Production of the Dodge Viper SRT ended in 2017 when Dodge discontinued the model.
