The Ferrari 612 Scaglietti (Type F137) is a 2+2 coupé grand tourer manufactured by Ferrari between 2004 and 2010. It was designed to replace the smaller Ferrari 456; its larger size makes it a true 4 seater with adequate space in the rear seats for adults. The design, especially the large side scallops and the headlights, pays homage to the coach built 1954 Ferrari 375 MM that director Roberto Rossellini had commissioned for his wife, Ingrid Bergman. Although multiple variants were built, the most common is the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti - F1, sporting a refined version of the automated transmission used in the Ferrari 360. A short run of the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti 6-speed Manual cars were also built, along with a limited production Ferrari 612 Sessenta. The 612 was replaced by the Ferrari FF for model year 2011.
