The first variant of the Ferrari 360 to be produced was the coupé version called the Modena, named after the town of Modena, the birthplace of Enzo Ferrari. Transmission choice ranges from 6-speed manual transmission, or the electrohydraulic actuated "F1" automated manual transmission. The 360 Modena went into production in 1999 and remained in production until 2005 when it was replaced by the F430. The Ferrari 360 Spider followed the Modena for model year 2000.
