Debuting in 1965, the Fiat 616 was a replacement for the 615. The vehicle is a small commercial truck with two doors and no back seat. Found mainly in Europe, the truck could be used in several applications, which made it famous. It is not uncommon to find these trucks used as wreckers, flatbeds, campers, and cargo trucks. Fiat offered the truck in four and three-cylinder diesel engines depending on the generation. The 616 is a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive vehicle. It lasted four generations: the N from 1965-1966, N1 from 1966-1968, N2 from 1968-1971, and N3 from 1971 to 1978. It was replaced in 1978 by the Iveco Daily.
