The Ford Deluxe & Super Deluxe was a series of cars mostly built after WWII ended. With no particular innovations other than an updated three piece bumper and several changes through the years of production that somehow confused mechanics with parts changing location in the engine bay. Nevertheless these cars have been an interesting model for Custom projects. This Ford was offered as a four-door sedan, 2-door coupe and convertible and powered by a series of engines starting with a fuel friendly 226 CID L-Head inline 6, and all the way to a powerful 239ci V8, all paired to a 3 speed manual. The Ford Deluxe & Super Deluxe was superseded in 1949 by the Ford Custom Deluxe.
