Three diesel engine options were offered, the Caterpillar 3126 (7.2L I6), the Cummins ISB (5.9L I6), and the Powerstroke 7.3L V8 (Replaced by the 6.0L Powerstoke V8 from 2004). These engines were paired to manual or automatic transmission options with drive sent to the dual rear wheels. Production of the 1st Gen F-650 ended in 2007, when it was replaced by the 2nd Gen Ford F-650 Super Duty.
