The Ford Zephyr was a family of executive cars that was introduced by Ford of Britain for the 1951 model year. The Zephyr was built in four main generations (Mk1, Mk2, Mk3, and Mk4), and was available in sedan or station wagon body styles, although conversions to coupe and convertible bodies were commonly offered. These cars were powered by a variety of inline four, inline six, V4, and V6 engines driving the rear wheels via manual or automatic transmission options. Production of the Ford Zephyr ended in 1970 when the model was discontinued before being replaced by the Ford Granada (Europe).
