The Ineos Grenadier is a family of off-road focused cars that debuted for the 2023 model year. The Grenadier was created to be the spiritual successor to the Land Rover Defender when that model was shifted to the luxury SUV segment. Although Ineos has originally intended to purchase the tooling from the original Defender and continue production, after Jaguar Land Rover declined the purchase, Ineos decided to develop their own vehicle from scratch. The Grenadier, which is named after a famous London pub, was launched as a four door SUV, with a 4 door pickup known as the Quartermaster joining the lineup in 2024. Two BMW-sourced engine options are available, a gasoline 3.0L Turbo I6, and a 3.0L Turbodiesel I6, with both engines equipped with an 8 speed automatic transmission sending drive to all four wheels.
