The International Harvester KB-Series was a family of trucks introduced for the 1947 model year. The KB-Series succeeded the International Harvester K-Series, and was largely a lightly updated version of its predecessor. Various configurations and payload capacities were offered and designated by the letters KB followed by a number. KB-1 versions were the smallest and lightest offerings, while variants such as the KB-5 and KB-6 featured much greater capacities. These trucks were powered by International Harvester's 'Green Diamond' inline six engine, and were built until 1949. The KB-Series was replaced by the International Harvester L-Series.
