The International Harvester L-Series was a family of trucks introduced for the 1950 model year. The L-Series succeeded the International Harvester KB-Series and was available in a variety of configurations and payload capacities, ranging from 4,200 to 45,000 Gross Vehicle Weight rating. These rear wheel drive trucks were offered with manual or automatic transmissions, and were powered by a wide range of inline six engines. Production of the International L-Series lasted until 1952, when it was replaced by the International Harvester R-Series.
