With only 16 original Jaguar XKSS made and out of reach of most enthusiasts, many recreations have been made through the years. With similar cars and engines made by Jaguar and derived from the D-Type's , companies and enthusiasts alike have been able to build re-creations of the original XKSS with Jaguar components very similar in spec to the originals, at a much more reasonable cost.
