The Lotus Exige is a series of mid-engined sports cars introduced in 2000. Originally created as a more hardcore, hard top version of the Lotus Elise, the Exige has evolved into its own unique model, fitted with V6 engines, and being placed above the Elise. The Exige has been built in three generations: Series 1 (2000-2002), Series 2 (2004-2011), and Series 3 (2012-2021).
