The Mercedes-Benz 770 was the flagship model for the company between 1930 and 1943. A range of full size luxury cars, the 770 was built across two series. The First Series was built on the W07 platform, and was built between 1930 and 1938. The Second Series was built on the W150 platform, and was built between 1938 and 1943. Both series were offered with different 7.7L straight eight engines, and available with optional superchargers. The 770 is heavily associated with the Third Reich and Nazi Germany as it was used by the leadership of Germany prior to, and during World War 2.
