The fifth generation of Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan was introduced for the 2017 model year. Known as the W213, the fifth gen E-Class featured available inline 4, V6, or V8 engines as available hybrid systems. The W213 features three distinct AMG models, the E300, E300 4MATIC, E350, E350 4MATIC, E400 4MATIC, E450 4MATIC, E43 AMG 4MATIC, the E53 AMG 4MATIC+, and the E63 AMG S 4MATIC+. The E53 AMG 4MATIC+ features Mercedes' EQ Boost hybrid boost system.
