The first generation of the GLA was known as the Mercedes-Benz X156 and was introduced for the 2014 model year. The GLA X156 claimed it was the most aerodynamic in its segment, with a drag coefficient figure of 0.29 and powered by a range of inline four petrol and diesel engines, with hybrid options. Variants offer include the GLA250, GLA250 4MATIC and GLA45 AMG 4MATIC.Produced until 2019. The GLA X156 was replaced by the H247 Mercedes-Benz GLA. Although a range of variants have been built for the X156 GLA Generation, at Classic.com, we only track the GLA45 AMG 4MATIC.
