The third generation Mercury Capri was introduced for the 1991 model year. The third generation Capri was a captive import of the Ford of Australia's Ford Capri. This generation of Capri was offered as a two door roadster, and was available with a naturally aspirated or turbocharged 1.6L inline four engine. Production of the Mercury Capri ended in 1994.
