The Mitsubishi Starion was a series of sports cars introduced for the 1983 model year. The Starion was offered as a rear wheel drive coupe powered by a choice of two turbocharged inline four engines (2.0L, 2.6L). The standard Starion was offered as a narrowbody car, but higher tier variants were fitted with the widebody. The Starion was also sold as the Plymouth Conquest, Dodge Conquest, and Chrysler Conquest in badge engineered versions. Mitsubishi produced the Starion until 1989. Both Standard Variants and Race Cars were built.
