The Morgan 4/4 was a series of sports cars that were introduced in 1936. The 4/4 was named for the model's four cylinders and four wheels (as previous Morgans had been three wheelers), and was largely offered as a roadster during its lifespan, although a drophead coupe was built during the model's early years. Except for a few breaks, the 4/4 was in continuous production for over 80 years until it was discontinued in 2019. The Morgan 4/4 was built in eight generations: Series I (1936-1950), Series II (1956-1960), Series III (1961), Series IV (1962-1963), Series V (1964-1968), 1600 (1969-1993), 1800 (1994-2009), and 1.6 Litre (2010-2019).
