The Morris Oxford was a series of cars introduced in 1913. The first variant, known as the Oxford Bullnose, was Morris' first production car. Other later variants, such as the Oxford Empire, and Oxford Six, continued the use of the Oxford name until 1935. These cars were powered by a range of inline four engines, and were available in a variety of open and closed body styles. Morris would re-introduce the Oxford name for another series of cars starting in 1948. These new Oxfords were compact family cars, and were in production until 1971.
