The Nissan Skyline GTS25-T was a variant of the R33 Skyline that was introduced for the 1994 model year. Also known as the GTS-T, it was a mid-level offering for the R33 and was offered in coupe and sedan body styles. These cars were powered by the RB25DET engine, which was a turbocharged 2.5L inline six that had an output of 247hp and 217 lb ft of torque. Power from this engine drove the rear wheels through either a 5 speed manual or 4 speed automatic transmission. Depending on the trim, some versions of the GTS25-T were equipped with Nissan's HICAS four wheel steering system. These cars were often used as the base for various creations by tuning companies, such as Impul's R33-R. Production of the R33 Skyline GTS-T continued until 1998, when Nissan introduced the next generation R34 Skyline.
