This new generation of Toronado saw the model become more of a luxury tourer, and was available as a two door coupe. The second generation Toronado was powered by a 455ci V8 (7.5L) until 1976, after which a smaller 403ci V8 (6.4L) was used. The 2nd Gen Toronado was built until 1978, when it was replaced by the Third Generation Oldsmobile Toronado.
