The second generation of Packard Super Eight was introduced for the 1948 model year. The second generation of Super Eight was largely a renamed Packard Clipper, and was powered by a 5.3L inline eight engine. Two sedans, a convertible, as well as a station wagon were offered. Production of the Super Eight ended in 1950.
