The Panoz Esperante was a series of sports cars that was introduced in 2000. The Esperante was offered in two door coupe and two door convertible body styles, and was powered by engines sourced from GM and Ford. Over the course of production, a range of variants were made, including the base GT, the GTLM (coupe), GTS, and Spyder GT. Each variant had different power ratings, with the GT having 305hp, while the Spyder GT topped the range with 560hp. The original production run of the Esperante ended in 2007, but in 2014, the Spyder GT reappeared for a short run that lasted until 2015.
