The fourth generation Plymouth Fury was introduced for the 1965 model year. The fourth generation Fury was built on a full size platform, and was offered in sedan, coupe, convertible, and wagon body styles. Also known as the Plymouth VIP, the fourth generation Fury was available with a range of inline six and V8 engines. The fourth generation Fury featured I, II, III, and Sport Fury variants. The fourth generation Fury was in production until 1968 and was replaced by the Fifth Generation Plymouth Fury.
