The fist generation Plymouth Satellite was introduced for the 1965 model year as the top trim model in Plymouth's "B" platform. Available only in two-door hardtop and convertible models, the top of the line became GTX in 1967. The first generation ended in 1967 and was succeeded by the 2nd Gen Plymouth Satellite in 1968.
