The Porsche 718 Cayman S (coupe) was introduced for the 2017 model year, as part of the new 982-generation. As with its sibling, the 718 Boxster S, the 718 Cayman S was powered by a 2.5 liter horizontally-opposed flat-4 turbocharged engine, capable of 345 hp, sending power to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual or 7-speed PDK (automatic) transmission.
