The 911E Coupe was the hardtop version of the 911E 2.4-Liter that debuted in 1972. The 911E 2.4L Coupe was powered by a 2,341 cc (2.3 L) engine, commonly known as the "2.4 L" engine. This engine, which featured Bosch mechanical fuel injection (as found in its 2.0 and 2.2 predecessors), was paired with a manual or Sportomatic transmission to send drive to the rear wheels. Production of the 911E 2.4-Liter Coupe ended in 1973.
