The Studebaker Silver Hawk was a series of coupes introduced for the 1957 model year. The Silver Hawk replaced the Flight Hawk and Power Hawk as the entry-level model in the Studebaker Hawk Series. Two engines were installed in the Silver Hawk, for domestic examples, a 101hp 3.0L inline six unit was used, while exports saw use of a 180 hp 4.2L V8 engine. For 1959, the 3.0L inline six was downsized into a 2.8L unit. Production of the Studebaker Silver Hawk lasted until 1959, when the Hawk Series was consolidated into a single offering, the Studebaker Hawk.
