The third and final generation of Studebaker Lark was introduced for the 1964 model year. This final generation saw a drastic change to the styling, bring the Lark more in line with conventional design at the time. Studebaker had slowly been phasing out the Lark name during the model's later years, with variants taking on names repsective to their trim level. These names included Daytona, Cruiser, and Challenger, with the Cruiser representing the premium offering. Sedan, coupe, and station wagon (known as the Wagonaire) body styles were offered, as were two inline six and one V8 engine options. Production of the Studebaker Lark ended in the United States in late 1963, but Canadian production lasted until 1966.
