The Studebaker Lark was a series of compact cars introduced for the 1959 model year. The Lark was created to give Studebaker an inexpensive, popular model that would boost sales for the struggling company. Over the course of production, these rear wheel drive cars featured six and eight cylinder engines, and were available in sedan, coupe, convertible, and station wagon body styles. The Lark was built in three generations: 1st Gen (1959-1961), 2nd Gen (1962-1963), and 3rd Gen (1964-1966).
