The Volvo 164 was introduced for the 1966 model year. The 164 was a series of luxury cars based on the Volvo 140 Series. The 164 was offered as a mid-size sedan, and was fitted with a 3.0L inline six engine. During the course of production, the 164 saw numerous upgrades and improvements, including a major facelift in 1973. Production of the Volvo 164 ended in 1975.
