Using our CLASSIC.COM Market Benchmark*, we’ve analyzed over 6,000 individual markets** to pinpoint the top Growing and Slowing Markets across three distinct value tiers: Over $500K, Between $100K-500K, and Under $100K. To qualify for this list, a market must have more than one sold listing between January-March 2024.

Over 1,600 sub-$100K markets, each with at least two sales, averaged a slight decline of 2% in the first quarter of 2024. Despite this, 70% of these markets showed less than a 10% change, indicating relative market stability. Remarkably, 40+ markets surged by 30% or more.
Leading the surge, the Opel Manta’s value skyrocketed by 176% after the same of a pristine example at Iconic Auctioneers. The 1st-Gen Volvo V70 R and Nissan Stagea also stood out with 128% and 96% growth, respectively. In the pickup category, the Isuzu Faster and Volkswagen Caddy witnessed 88% and 57% increases.
Other significant markets with gains include the 2nd-Gen Mini Cooper Hardtop, influenced by sales of mint Goodwood versions, and the Land Rover OneTen Hard Top due to conversions into wagons. The BMW 733i (E23), Morris Eight, and 3rd-Gen Mercury Comet also showed notable growth, highlighting the dynamic nature of lower-priced markets.
