The D6 was introduced by Delage in 1930. It was one of the brand's most iconic models, notable for its mechanical refinement, elegance, and versatility. It always featured inline six ​​engines with displacements ranging from 2.0L up to 3.0L, depending on the version. It was equipped with a 3 or 4-speed manual transmission, rear-wheel drive and was offered in a wide range of body styles: sedan, coupe, cabriolet and limousine. The main versions were: D6-11, D6-60, D6-65, D6-70, D6-75, D6-80, D6-90, D6-95, D6-100, D6-120 and D6-3L. Some variants featured aluminium cylinder heads, uprated suspension and special set-ups for rallying or fast touring. The D6 combined luxury, performance and build quality, consolidating Delage's prestige both on the road and in motorsport, being one of the last great models of the brand before its takeover by Delahaye. The Delage D6 was produced until 1953.
