The Ferrarri 250 GT/E 2+2 was the first large-production four-seat Ferrari. Interior space was increased by moving the engine forward in the chassis. The rear seats were suitable for children. Engine output was listed at 237 hp. Approximately 1,000 GT/E's were produced between 1959 and 1963 over three series, with some being registered in subsequent years. The model was followed by the visually similar 330 America.
