The Fiat 508 C / Balilla 1100 is a series of cars introduced in 1937. As the successor to the Fiat 508 Balilla, this new family of cars was first known as the 508 C, but starting in 1939, these cars were known as the 1100 Balilla. The 1100 Balilla was sold in a variety of body styles, including berlinetta, roadster, and sedan. Part of the 1100 Balilla family was the 1100 MM, or Mille Miglia, a group of highly successful racecars. As was common at the time, many coachbuilt examples built on the 1100 Balilla platform were created. Production of the 1100 Balilla continued until 1953.
