The GMC C & E Series was a family of trucks introduced for the 1941 model year. The C & E Series was an upmarket version of the Chevrolet AK Series, which were also known as the 'Art Deco' trucks. GMC offered the C & E range in a variety of configurations, including pickup, cab over engine, and combination bus. Over the course of production, a 3.5L or 3.7L inline six engine powered the C & E Series, which was produced until 1947 and was replaced by the GMC New Design.
