Mercedes-Benz introduced their 220 model in 1951. Also known as the W187, the 220 was available in four different body styles: 220 Saloon, 220 Cabriolet A, 220 Cabriolet B, and 220 Coupe. All 220 cars were fitted with Mercedes' M180 2.2L straight six engine, producing 79hp. While the 220 Saloon and 220 Cabriolet B ended production in 1954, the Cabriolet B and Coupe continued production until 1955.
