The Mercedes-Benz S 65 AMG was a high performance variant of the W220 S-Class  introduced for the 2006 model year. This AMG version of the S 600 featured a twin turbo V12 engine, as well as modifications to the chassis in order to cope with its 604hp and over 700 lb⋅ft (950 N⋅m) of torque, power unit. Thos engine was paired to a 5G-Tronic 5-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Production of the W220 Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG ended the same model year.
