The Packard DeLuxe Eight was a series of full size luxury cars introduced for the 1929 model year. The DeLuxe Eight was created as a long wheelbase version of the Packard Custom Eight. This new model was offered in two distinct generations: 1st Gen (1929-1932) as an evolution of the Custom Eight, and 2nd Gen (1948-1950) as a renamed version of the Packard Clipper.
