The Porsche 356 C Cabriolet was the last Cabriolet (and convertible) variant of the Porsche 356 and the last true Porsche Cabriolet (denomination for the Porsche convertible cars) before the Porsche 911 SC Cabrio, which re-appeared in 1983. As the Coupe, It was offered with three different engine variants: the Base Model (known as the 1600 C) with the 75 HP engine, the SC -which became the best performing four-cylinder pushrod engine ever produced- with 95 HP, and the famous Carrera 2 with the 2.0 L four-cam engine, of which only 30 were built. Similar to the Coupe, it was produced from late 1963 up to early 1966, when the last ten cars were produced, shortly after the first generation 911 had just hit the market.
