Availalble between 1990 and 1996, the Toyota MR2 - Base Model - Manual was a variant of the second generation W20 Toyota MR2. In the US, along with the less common automatic version, the Toyota MR2 was powered by the naturally aspirated Toyota 2.2 liter 5S-FE engine capable of 130 hp, driving power to the rear via a 5-speed manual transmission. This variant was mostly available in a T-top (removable roof panels) body style, and a small number with a fixed roof (coupe).
