The OT 1300 was introduced by Abarth in 1965. It was a 2 door coupe based on the Fiat 850 Coupe, with rear-wheel drive and a 5 speed manual transmission. It was powered by a 1298cc inline four engine with double overhead camshafts and Weber carburetors, capable of delivering 147hp. Its lightweight, aerodynamic body gave it a weight of just 655kg, which combined with its power, allowed it to exceed 240km/h (150mph). Noted for its agility and balance, it was created as a racing car for Group 4 touring cars, becoming one of the most successful and admired Abarth models of the 1960s. The Abarth OT 1300 was produced until 1968.
