Allard J1 (1946 to 1947)

The Allard J1 was a series of competition focused roadsters introduced in 1946. The J1 was created on the Allard J platform, and was powered by a Mercury-sourced 4.0L V8 engine that generated 140hp, which it sent to the rear wheels via a 3 speed manual transmission. These cars were created to be raced, featuring often in a range of road and rally events. The Allard J1 was a limited production car, with just 12 examples built before the model was discontinued in 1947.
