The Alpine A110 was first introduced in 1961. The first generation of A110 was a series of sports cars that were offered as two door coupes. These cars helped Alpine establish themselves as a serious automaker due to their success in the World Rally Championship as well as other racing disciplines. Over the course of production the A110 was offered with a wide range of inline four engines ranging in power from 55hp to 140hp. Power from these engines was sent thorugh a 5 speed manual transmission to drive the rear wheels. In 1977, the Alpine A110 was discontinued, and it wouldn't be until the 2018 model year that the Second Generation Alpine A110.
